Eye Twitching

Eye or eye lid twitching is a common condition and can affect either the upper or lower eyelids.  Most twitches come and go but some can sometimes last longer weeks or even months. The first actions is to find out the cause.The most common cause is stress or tiredness but causes can also be linked with;

Caffeine
Eye strain
Alcohol
Smoking
Dry eyes

Nutritional imbalances.

In most cases an eye twitch will self resolve, however if it doesn’t improve and all above causes have been ruled out see your optician or doctor.
